Actualis is free, AGPL-3.0, and has no paid tier. It is built and maintained by Digital Foundry Solutions, LLC. If it found a credential before someone else did, or told you where the money went, you can put something behind the next release.

A one-off contribution of any amount you choose, handled by Stripe. No GitHub account needed, and card details go to Stripe — they are never seen by this site. For monthly support, use GitHub Sponsors.

What supporting does and does not buy

Nothing. That is deliberate. Supporting Actualis unlocks no features, no licence key, no priority queue and no private build. Everything the project produces is available to everyone under the AGPL, whether they contribute or not.

Keeping it that way matters for a reason beyond principle: the moment money buys something, a contribution becomes a sale, with the tax treatment that follows. Keeping support entirely gratuitous keeps the project simple and keeps the promise above credible.

Please read before contributing

  • This is not a tax-deductible donation. Digital Foundry Solutions, LLC is a for-profit company, not a registered charity. Nothing you contribute is deductible, and you should not treat it as such.
  • Contributions are not refundable, since nothing is being purchased. If something has gone wrong with a payment, contact us and we will sort it out.
  • Support is not a support contract. Bugs and features are handled in the public issue tracker, in whatever order makes the project better, regardless of who has contributed.

Other ways to help, all of them free

  • Open a precise bug report — a reproduction is worth more than a payment.
  • Tell us where the numbers are wrong. Accuracy is the entire product.
  • Write an adapter for an agent whose transcripts are not read yet.
  • Tell someone whose credentials are sitting in a transcript right now.
